It's not your Grandma's Wallpaper...

Wallpaper used to conjure up images of your Grandma's house with pink florals and intricate little dainty designs.

Or you might think of the 80s and 90s with all those gosh darned wallpaper borders of ducks and baskets and ribbons.

Ewwww.

But wallpaper is very hip again - and I can look very chic.  It can also be a little pricey sometimes - but this is where it pays to indulge yourself by doing one small area - one accent wall that will make your whole room.  Think of it as art on a wall that covers the entire space.  Because today's cool wallpapers are very much like an art installation in your home.

Trends tend towards geometrics, LARGE scale florals, damasks & paisley's, bold colors and metallics or metallic accents.

Wallpaper can be a fun way to add a little oomph to your decor!  A couple of cool companies making great Wallpaper are Jonathan Adler & and online company called Flavor Paper.  Flavor Paper actually makes their wallpapers by silk screening and they can even do custom designs.  How cool is that?
