Pantone's color of the year for 2013 - Emerald

So last year was tangerine, and the year before that was a kind of teal/deep turquoise and Pantone predicts this next year's color will be Emerald.

This is a really great color.  You'll start seeing it on a lot of clothes - the spring fashions previewed recently are full of it.  Probably the easiest way to incorporate into home decor is through pillows, a lamp or vase.  My favorite way to introduce it would be to paint a piece of furniture Emerald.
